I was feeling a bit depressed the other day,
so I called the Help Hotline.
I was put through to a "call center" in Pakistan.
I explained that I was feeling suicidal.
They were very excited at this news and wanted to
know if just maybe .....
... I could drive a truck or fly an airplane.

My greatest bout with depression was indeed suicidal, to the point that I stole a bottle of snoozy pills from my girlfriend's bedroom drawer and proceeded to devour them all. I then lay down on my bed, prepared to die. Alas, two hours later, I was still alert and, upon reading the label more carefully, discovered I had consumed a hefty dose of laxatives. I shall say no more.
