My Mother's Family, circa 1996

He was short in stature and his first name was Napoleon, but my grandfather N. Joseph Bernard (1896 photo at left) had 18 children most of which are visible in this family reunion photo taken in 1996. The family tree today has over 300 twigs of all sizes. Contrast this with the descendants of Ciras and Beaudrys.

Hey Jacques - they had no TV in those days......which one is your Mom and I don't see you there either?????

For your info my Dad was an only child and my Mom had two brothers - all deceased. I had no kids, my second sister (deceased had 6) and baby sister had 2. But I certainly have
a lot of descendants in the cat world (having bred & judged cats for 10 years).

:-) I was always a TV and Computer nut which explains it, I guess. My mom is the lady wearing a colourful blouse sitting left of Ludger with cap and cane (died at 99 and would drive his Caddy to Boston to court a lady while he was well into his nineties). I am not in the picture as with many of my cousins. There are more than 400 twigs I have been told.
I do have a daughter, the beautiful Amélie. So we share on the canine side. LOL

WITH 19 KIDS, HOW WOULD HE HAVE TIME FOR T.V. OR EVEN A COMPUTER IF THEY HAD THEM IN THOSE DAYS. YEAH, I HARDLY KNOW ANY OF OUR YOUNGER FAMILY MEMBERS ANYMORE, SEEMS THE OLDER ONES ARE ALL GONE AND ON MY DAD'S SIDE OF THE FAMILY, I AM NOW THE OLDEST GSON. SEEM PICS OF COUSINS, BROTHER SISTERS FAMILIES AND THEY KEEP ON GROWING. I HAVE 2 SONS AND ONLY ONE DAUGHTER AND DON'T EVEN KNOW HER. NOW, I'M TOO DAM OLD TO START ANOTHER FAMILY, EXCEPT IN MY HEAD. HAHA
