Nikki Filmed in 8mm in a 1958 Costume Party

The movie 'Jules et Jim' by François Truffaut was released that same year with the sultry Jeanne Moreau playing the main role. In this classic 'Nouveau Cinema' piece, the lifelong pals Jules and Jim fall madly in love with the same woman. The issue is resolved during a happy romp in her convertible Simca; they simply shoot off a high cliff in the French Alps, all three of them laughing to their death. The heroine sings the soundtrack in my montage, the actual title song of that movie, called 'Le Tourbillon'. Having been called 'Jim' for most of my life, I assume that the dancer in this home movie is 'Jules'. That does take us back to simpler prettier times, don't you think?

Pretty awful resolution throughout of a very pretty young girl and I remember her well. Still, such fun to have especially since it was filmed by our uncle, Rod Buxton. I really thought it was Nikki singing until I read that it was Jeanne Moreau. Sounds so much like her voice.

All of us sexagenarians (de french speaking ones surtout) get nostalgic when hearing that lovely song. Quels souvenirs de jeunesse floating on love's clouds,,,

ps. that almost looked like wife#2 or 3?
yes camille, it could be Nikki's voice

HOW NEAT, NIKKI IS STILL A FOX, TODAY. GLAD TO SEE YOU BACK ON LINE, ARE YOU DOWN HERE? GUESS YOU HEARD ABOUT THE BREAKINS. EVEN PAM AND ROBERT GOT BURGLARIZED LAST WEEK AND THEY ARE STILL IN HAWAII. SHE HEARD THAT ONLY SOME OF HER JEWELERY WAS TAKEN, SO THEY WERE LUCKY. MOST KNOWING ABOUT THESE BREAKINS, THINK IT INVOLVES SOME LOCALS COMING INTO CAMPO REYNOSO. THEY MAYBE INNOCENT, BUT ARE THEIR FRIENDS? SURE ENJOYED THIS VIDEO. THANKS, GEORGE
