The Santa Ana Winds Blow Long, Hot and Dry

(IMPORTANT: The sound level button is at the lower left of the above Quicktime Player)
This wind can blow non stop for three days, killing kill any plant that is not native. Standing outside 5 minutes after a shower will blow dry your hair and blind you with desert dust. Yet autumn in Baja is wonderful between these episodes. YOU ARE ALL INVITED one or two at a time! This will make you appreciate the native plants, the low-water need variety like those grown by Molly.

I do not watch video b'cause of my slow speed on internet, but i would swear that it is a clear reference to the rock band "Babe Ruth" and their big tune "The mexican" . Play it tonight, they talk about general Santa Anna.

Zut alors! Purple Haze!

Babe Ruth was a rock music group active in the 1970s from England.

Merci Mercy! A Marvin Gaye song made French as my way of saying don't give the U.S. credit for everything. We did invent Velcro here, but the inventor was French. The word was derived from velours, meaning 'velvet', and crochet, or 'hook'.

BTW - I'm an idiot, but I drive a wicky search engine!
