The Dog They Found Had Only Two Legs
A hunter found a 2-year-old Chihuahua that had apparently been abandoned in the woods of North Carolina.The dog was malnourished and sick.The hunter brought Roo to a veterinary hospital in Wilmington. Within 24 hours, Roo started eating again and began his road to recovery."He's been through some bad things, but we're hoping to change his luck," said Melissa Hiott of Dineen Animal Hospital.
The animal hospital quickly raised the $370.for a doggy wheelchair. Someone sent them a sketch for a front wheel suspension ('moi', who else!?!). We will keep you posted.

Question.....what is preventing the support from sliding down his body? or holding the wheel in place so as not to go forward or under his little chest?
What is not shown is the hollow 1.25 O.D. stainless steel shaft pressure fitted through his chest, and into which slides a 1.25 O.D. fork spindle mounted with a 3.5" coil spring. Should be a pretty good ride since all of that is borrowed from mountain bike technology, of which Nikki's son Miko is a champion racer.
Through his chest! Oh dear. Can't wait to see the finished product.
