We Need To Sell Our Houses in Peru - Hearthbreaking and Preventable in the Future.

The immense recent tragedy in Pisco Peru like shown above has no reasons to be. These houses are actually slow and expensive to build as compared to those of our Archimede Housing System( see recent video I posted) , the latter having an incredible earthquake resistance for the following reasons:
  • 30% to 50% less unsprung weight
  • Hexagonal floor grid with 3 shear resisting axis instead of two (no skewing).
  • All concrete surfaces reinforced with a welded gauge12 mesh
  • All panels joined with similar mesh and armatures
  • Connection to floor with shear resistant steel a one meter intervals or better.
  • All openings reinforced with #4 rebars, protecting doors and openings
  • All wall are shear walls, yet weigh less than half of conventional walls. The axial and perpendicular stress resistance on walls and roof is astounding. We actually triangulate roof beams.
  • All roof/ceiling panels weigh sometimes 4 times less than regular roofs, yet are fully reinforced with concrete mesh on both sides.
  • Connections between roof and walls has a factor of safety of up to 3.
We accept donations to ship a first demo house and train a local team.
